Investment strategy The funds invest in internationally company bonds denominated in euro. The fund management also can invest in foreign currency loans, the currency risk must, however, be protected, in principle. Since launch of the fund sustainability criteria are in principle also taken into account at the choice of the securities. These orientate themselves at social, ecological and economic factors in the harmony with Christian, ethical moral concepts.
Investment process The fund invests worldwide in shares of enterprises which must correspond to a clearly defined requirements specification. An extensive method to the determination of the sustainability of the issuers is used. Strict exclusion criteria represent the most important hurdle for enterprises at first once. Become enterprises which produce armor goods, alcohol and tobacco or in principle offer games of chance impossibly, for example. In a second step an analysis is carried out after the Best in Class approach to find those security suppliers out who realize the sustainability concept best. The fund management of the union selects investment individual title from the remaining plant universe to the expectation of return.
