Aim of investment Notenstein Sustainable Water aims to generate long-term capital growth. It is suitable for investors with an investment horizon of at least five years, who wish to get exposure to the water investment theme.
Investment strategy Notenstein Sustainable Water invests in listed shares of companies that exploit market opportunities arising from treating water as a valuable resource. The portfolio is regionally diversified along the entire value chain for water, including infrastructure, technology, water quality, water efficiency and water supply. Companies with high exposure to environmental and social risks are excluded from the investment universe.
Investment process The investment process combines the sustainability screen with a financial analysis, consisting of quantitative and qualitative elements. The fund manager is selecting the most promising securities from the resulting investment universe. The next step is the portfolio construction whose main goal is to achieve an optimized risk / return profile while maintaining the flexibility to react to developments in the financial markets.
